Updates...

We have been extremely busy these last couple of weeks, with the holidays and everything else that is going on.
The day after Thanksgiving, we found some nice apartments in Sandy. So we got busy and that Saturday and Sunday, we moved into them. Isaac loves his new room! It is nice to FINALLY have a place of our own!
D just finished all of his finals this week for nursing school. He is done with his RN program and had his pinning ceremony last night! I was proud of myself because I didn't cry!!! He got offered a job at the new IMC hospital which we are happy he has. He also got accepted into the bachelor nursing program up at Weber State University, so he will be starting that this coming Spring. This program won't be as intense as the RN program was, thank goodness! I am so proud of him and everything he has accomplished so far. He is the best!
Besides all of that, we are just trying to get ready for Christmas to come.
Hope that everyone has a nice holiday season!

Isaac turned 3!!!!

I cannot believe he is already 3!! Time goes by too fast!! Isaac is a spoiled little handsome boy!!! He had two birthday parties! One was a thomas the train party and the other was a pirate party! They both were great! We had a lot of fun.
Here we were playing bingo at his party.
This was the cake I made for his pirate party!! I thought it turned out great!!

Trick-o-Treat!!!

Halloween was a lot of fun this year! Isaac had a blast in his Halloween Costume!
As you can tell, Isaac was a pirate! When we would ask him what pirate he was, he would say "Jack Sparrow"

Activities Together!

Here we took Isaac to the dinosaur museum.
The dinosaur he is laying on, he called Sarah(off of the Land Before Time) and he loved seeing SharpTooth(also off of the show).

Here a few pictures, we took the kids to a corn maze! It was a lot of fun! As long as they stayed close to us, we let them lead the way and tell us which way to go. You can get lost so easily that way, but it was fun to see them running around in the corn.

Zoo Time!

Ever since we told Isaac we were going to go to the zoo, he kept saying that he wanted to see the giraffes.

Not quite big enough yet Isaac!
He saw some bigger kids standing up to the gorilla and thought it was so cool so when everyone was gone, he ran right up there and spread his arms out.

Isaac was trying to be cool like Dad and lean up against the gorilla!

Isaac loved the train ride the best! After the ride was over and we got out, Isaac got down on his hands and knees and was looking underneath the train to check out the tires and the track!

Fall is Here!!!

We go up every year, during the beginning of October into the mountains to see the beautiful leaves changing colors!

Our naked cowboy!
Here Isaac tried on his cowboy outfit to make sure it fit to go to Jaden's bday party. He wanted to take off ALL his clothes, but we were able to convince him to keep his underwear on!

All dressed up and ready to go to the party!
Isaac loves cowboys and horses!

This is on Isaac's door to his room and a small section on his wall. We have been decorating his room for Halloween. He loves it! He calls the skeleton on the door a scary pirate. When going to bed, he says goodnight to the pirate and the spiders when walking by them.

It's a Girl!!!

Well, we just found out that Isaac is going to have a little sister!
We are so excited! After the ultrasound, darrin was looking at these pictures and said, "ahhh, what am I going to do with a girl?"
The more I think about having a girl, the more I can't wait.

Finally....

So....
Life has been so hectic lately, that I never find time to update this. Everyone is out of the house and Isaac is asleep, so here we go!!!

A family tradition we have is going to the Ogden Rodeo every year. As you can tell, Isaac had to wear his cowboy hat there. He loves to see all the animals, especially the horses and wants to ride them.

Now we both have mountain bikes which makes summer even more fun! We went up the canyon and went on a ride. Some parts were a little scary because you only had a small space and then the mountain would drop down. It was a lot of fun to be together!

About a month ago, Isaac and I had a night all by ourselves, so I took him to Hollywood Connection. We went all out! We ate dinner, played arcade games, and rode the carousel (which he didn't care for!) He loved riding the motorcycle and car arcade games. We won over 600 tickets and he picked out a stuffed dinosaur! It was great to spend the whole evening just with him.

We took a night to relax and go watch the sunset at Ensign Peak.

Isaac painted himself a monster mask! Very scary!

Another family thing we do is go to the state fair. Isaac loves it because he gets to see all the animals, go down the big yellow slide, and ride a horse!

Perfect timing.... I finished right when Isaac woke up!

Just like Dad!!

We went fishing a few months ago. It was just a quick get away to Scofield over the weekend, but we really needed it. We took home eight huge fish, but we actually caught and released about eight more.

As you can tell, Isaac had a blast fishing and playing in the mud!! In this picture, he was trying to throw the mud on the fish we caught! Silly boy!
I love this picture of Isaac! He reminds me of a cool hiphop dancer! So cute!

Here is Isaac Blaine with Grandpa Blaine ! Isaac loves Grandpa Blaine! He is always excited to see him! You can tell that Grandpa Blaine is proud that Isaac is named after him. It is cute to see them play together!
