I feel that I finally have some spare time that I can update this blog. It has almost been a year since my last update, but what a busy, crazy, stressful year. Going back to school with two kids is such a challenge. Managing your time is one of the hardest parts. When to study, clean the house, cook, spend time with the kids. It can get overwhelming. Yesterday was the first day that I didn't have to send Isaac down to watch a movie while Bryn took her nap so I could focus on school. Having our one on one time together and doing whatever he wanted was the best! And what he wanted to do was play, Mancala! (over and over)

I am free now (at least for three weeks) to put all my attention toward my kids. I don't have to feel guilty about cleaning the house or studying for a test. I can play with them all I want!

Ok, what is a quick way to update what has been going on lately with our family? So much has happened in the past year...

-As most of you know, we are pregnant again...having another girl in November. Not planned but it was meant to be if you get pregnant while on birth control!
-Darrin will finish his Bachelors degree in Nursing at the end of Fall. (We are crazy for both of us going to school this fall while having a baby in the middle.)
-On July 24th, Darrin ran his first marathon! The hard work they have to put into training for one of those is crazy. He trained for 4 months and by the time his marathon was over, he ran 418 miles in 4 months!
-Back in May between Spring and Summer classes, we got away to St. George for a few days. It was extremely nice and much needed. While down there, we went to Zions which I haven't been there since I was little and didn't remember much. Oh how beautiful that place is. We went on as many hikes as we could and the kids were fabulous the whole time.
Before we even started hiking, Isaac found the perfect boy jackpot.....fuzzy caterpillars!! Bryn had to join in on the fun!

Sorry tons of pictures....

The kids loved being able to run around in the open field.

The second day up Zion, it was a little cooler, but it still turned out perfect!

Our final picture, we went on a drive and through tunnels and Isaac wanted his picture with the tunnel!! (silly face and cute face!!)
